By installing or using Describly ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.
Describly is a Shopify application that uses artificial intelligence to generate product descriptions, SEO metadata, and tags. You may use the App solely for lawful business purposes in connection with your Shopify store.
You agree not to:
Describly offers paid subscription plans billed through Shopify's billing system. Charges appear on your Shopify invoice. Your subscription begins after a 7-day free trial.
You may cancel your subscription at any time from the Plans & Billing page inside the App. Cancellations take effect immediately — no refunds are issued for unused portions of a billing period.
We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' advance notice to your registered email address.
Content generated by Describly is produced by the Anthropic Claude AI model. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving all generated content before publishing it to your Shopify store.
We do not guarantee that generated content will be accurate, original, or suitable for your specific products. You must verify factual claims (materials, dimensions, certifications, etc.) before publishing.
You retain ownership of all content you input into the App (product data, existing descriptions) and all AI-generated content produced from your inputs. We claim no ownership over generated descriptions.
Describly's software, branding, and documentation are owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance, third-party outages (Shopify, Anthropic, Supabase), or unexpected issues may cause temporary downtime. We are not liable for losses resulting from service interruptions.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Describly and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to lost revenue, lost data, or reputational harm resulting from AI-generated content.
Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 30 days preceding the claim.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or abuse the service. You may terminate your account at any time by uninstalling the App from your Shopify store.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will notify you of material changes via email.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Brazil.
